Asian Wave Alliance Hosts Candidates’ Forum in Brooklyn

On Friday, October 2, 2026, AWA held its candidates’ forum featuring three local races and the Attorney General race. All candidates running in Senate District 17 and Assembly Districts 47 and 49 were invited. We were pleased that Assemblymember William Colton, Mr. John Ricottone, Senator Stephen Chan, and Assemblymember Lester Chang were able to participate and answer our questions on issues that matter to Asian communities.

We also invited Saritha Komitareddy, who is running for Attorney General, to join us and tell us why she is the better candidate to serve as New York State’s top legal officer.
